Jerry Wayne Felmlee

This is very sad news. I only met Jerry twice: once at a café in Cologne a couple of years ago, then last year on the street when he was trying to get home with some huge grocery bags. He was walking on crutches, so I took home his bags. We exchanged numbers. I contacted him on March 13th, asking him about how he was holding up during Covid-19 and whether he'd need some assistance. I never heard back from him. Today I found out why. Rest in peace, it's been good to know you!

The laughter we all shared is still ringing throughout the universe. I hope you are enjoying it still. Thanks for the beautiful times and memories.

I first met Jerry when I was in high school and he was a student at Wichita State University.  We played many flute duets together and became fast friends.  I seldom saw him after he moved to Germany, but we kept in touch until last year.  I was deeply sorry to learn of his passing and treasure my memories of him.
